Insulating Gloves

Description

Ultra-thin insulating gloves Ultra-thin, high-sensitivity insulating glove (Class 0) The new SGC Comfort glove combines exceptional tactile sensitivity with full Class 0 electrical protection, while also maintaining excellent mechanical resistance. Its special formulation of high-purity natural latex allows for a reduced thickness without compromising safety, providing a soft, precise, and highly flexible feel. The ergonomic design significantly enhances user comfort, making donning and removal easy—even during prolonged tasks. Thanks to its high sensitivity, it is ideal for operations that require great precision and the handling of small components. The SGC Comfort model is certified according to EN 388 with the following levels: This mechanical protection makes it an excellent choice for environments where precision tasks are combined with the risk of friction or minor mechanical impacts. RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS Maintenance and repair of electric and hybrid vehicles (EV/HEV) Assembly, inspection, and handling in photovoltaic installation Work in control centres and electrical panels Low-voltage operations with delicate components Diagnostic, adjustment, and fine-connection tasks Industrial applications requiring maximum tactile sensitivity Manufactured and tested according to IEC 60903 and EN 60903, the SGC Comfort model guarantees the highest level of Class 0 protection with superior comfort in every use. The natural latex glove is available in green.

Dielectric gloves The natural latex base provides excellent dielectric properties. The greater the glove thickness, the higher its electrical resistance. The ergonomic design enhances comfort, offering superior softness and flexibility, and makes both donning and removal easier. Insulating gloves are considered one of the most important items of personal protective equipment for electrical work. They form the first line of defence against contact with live components or energised conductors. Recommended for work in electricity generation, transmission, transformation, and distribution, as well as in the railway, telecommunications, construction, industrial maintenance, photovoltaic panel, and hybrid vehicle battery sectors, among others. RECOMMENDATIONS Depending on the task, it is advisable to use the insulating latex gloves together with appropriate leather over-gloves to provide additional mechanical protection against abrasion, cutting, tearing, and punctures. MECHANICAL AND THERMAL REQUIREMENTS IEC 60903 | EN 60903 The natural latex glove is available in beige.

Composite insulated gloves Composite insulating gloves provide electrical, mechanical, and arc-flash protection; therefore, it is not necessary to use them in combination with a separate mechanical protective over-glove. The Composite glove range is made using a natural latex base coated with an outer layer of polychloroprene, combining mechanical resistance and comfort with a high level of electrical protection. Arc-flash protection: the glove is manufactured from a material that provides a high level of protection against arc flash. 3 in 1 MECHANICAL AND THERMAL REQUIREMENTS Complementary test and performance levels to be achieved are as follows: IEC 60903 | IEC 61482-1-2 Red external finish with beige internal finish.
